Length, area, volume, mass, and density conversions are centralized and use defined unit relationships. Intermediate values remain unrounded; formatting occurs only when a result is displayed. Density defaults are labeled planning assumptions and can be replaced with mix-specific or supplier data.

The site maintainers review formulas, worked examples, page intent, and practical limitations together. Automated tests cover conversion factors, waste allowances, density calculations, volume-to-weight conversions, coverage, and sealer quantities. Dates are updated when content or methodology is materially reviewed—not simply to make a page appear fresh.
